Excavator Operator (Claw/Grab Attachment)

Position Overview
A permanent opportunity is available for an experienced Excavator Operator with proven expertise in operating machinery fitted with a claw/grab attachment. The successful candidate will be responsible for safe, efficient, and precise handling of bulk materials within a high-demand industrial environment.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Operate an excavator equipped with a claw/grab attachment safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, move, and sort heavy bulk materials as required.
• Perform material handling and site operational support duties.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations and site procedures.
• Maintain productivity while ensuring precision and care in all machine movements.
• Assist with general site operations when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic care of assigned equipment.

• Minimum 10+ years proven experience operating excavators, specifically with claw/grab attachments.
• Extensive experience in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, recycling, or materials handling environment.
• Valid excavator operating certification/license (where applicable).
• Strong understanding of heavy machinery safety protocols.
• Physically fit, alert, and capable of working in demanding conditions.
• Ability to work shifts, overtime, and weekends if required.
• Reliable transport.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
