Engineer / Senior Technician

Job Description:

• Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services projects
• Prepare electrical designs, calculations, and technical documentation
• Design MV/LV reticulation, lighting, small power, standby power, and distribution systems
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during project implementation
• Ensure designs comply with SANS standards, industry regulations, and client specifications
• Manage project programmes, budgets, and client relationships
• Mentor junior engineers and support the successful delivery of projects

 
Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years' experience in Electrical Building Services Consulting
• Strong experience in the design of MV/LV electrical systems, lighting, and small power installations
• Experience on commercial, industrial, retail, healthcare, or residential developments
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Revit experience advantageous)
• Strong project management, client liaison, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality technical solutions independently

 
Qualification:
BEng / BSc in Engineering
ECSA Registration (PrEng or eligible to register) advantageous
