Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to take responsibility for planning, coordinating, and delivering high-quality electrical designs as part of a broader engineering process.
Requirements / Experience:
- Bachelor of Engineering Technology / Technical Diploma, or equivalent NQF qualification in Electrical Engineering
- ECSA Professional registration is advantageous but not essential
- Must have operational and design experience (inclusive of relevant design program exposure)
- Exposure to the mining industry and industrial plant environments
- Solid understanding of international electrical and instrumentation standards
- Knowledge of SANS standards, as well as the Mine Health & Safety Act and Occupational Health & Safety
- Familiarity with PLC and SCADA systems
- Technical product knowledge related to electrical engineering applications
