Job Details

The North Western Provincial Health Office, under the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) Project through a Cooperative Agreement (CoAg) with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the positions listed below, to be employed on a ten (10) month contract, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds.

SALARY: A competitive package will be offered to successful candidates on a ten (10) month contract basis.

POSITION 10: DRIVERS — 12 (TWELVE) POSITIONS

Reports To: Human Resources Management Officer

Number of Positions: 12 (Twelve)

Job Purpose

To drive institutional vehicles in order to facilitate mobility of officers, materials and equipment.

Job Responsibilities

Drive

  • Drives safely and regularly officers, materials and equipment in order to facilitate attendance to official duties and transportation of goods.
  • Accident Reports
  • Prepares effectively accident reports in order to facilitate decision making.

Log Books

Completes timely and accurately vehicle log books in order to enhance accountability.

Inspection

Undertakes regularly basic vehicle inspection in order to ascertain road worthiness.

Cleanliness

Undertakes effectively the cleaning of the vehicle in order to maintain hygiene.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

  • Form 5 / Grade 12 School Certificate.
  • Valid Class C Driving Licence.
  • Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience.
  • Able to write reports.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English.
  • Confidentiality and courtesy.
