What You'll Do:

  • Assist in developing and implementing the school's vision, mission, and strategic objectives

  • Support curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation

  • Monitor academic standards and learner performance

  • Promote effective teaching and learning practices across all grades and subjects

  • Support the implementation of educational policies and departmental requirements

  • Assist with supervision, mentoring, and performance management of staff

  • Support staff development initiatives and professional learning programmes

  • Facilitate collaboration and communication among staff

  • Assist in staff recruitment, induction, and retention

  • Promote learner discipline and uphold the school's code of conduct

  • Support learner wellbeing, safeguarding, and pastoral care initiatives

  • Address behavioural and academic concerns

  • Encourage learner participation in activities

  • Assist with school management, timetabling, assessments, and reporting

  • Ensure compliance with policies and safety standards

  • Assist resource allocation and planning

  • Foster positive relationships with parents and community

  • Participate in stakeholder engagement activities

  • Support communication between school and stakeholders

  • Support institutional goals and strategic planning

  • Maintain a positive school culture

  • Support school improvement initiatives

  • Act on behalf of the Principal when required

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in education leadership

  • Strong administrative, management, and communication skills

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate staff

  • Knowledge of educational policies and learner assessment practices

  • Ability to foster a positive and inclusive school environment
