AB Bank is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of Data Analyst.
The Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing data and generating useful business reports.
Among other responsibilities, you will be expected to:
- Analyze data, generate useful business reports by using BI tools i.e Qlik Sense, Python, SQL.
- Advise on best methods to collect analyze and manage data to improve data quality and efficiency of data systems.
- Identify, interpret patterns and trends assess data quality and eliminate irrelevant data.
- Analyze data in support of business cases and proposed projects by departmental managers and Collect needs and requirements from business users.
- Responsible for supporting data analysis and generating useful business reports by using MS.
- Analyze data in support of business cases and proposed projects by departmental managers.
- Design and deliver weekly/ monthly performance reports.
Minimum Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics or Statistics. ZAQA certification is a must.
- Minimum of 1 year data mining experience.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, React, Angular).
- Profound knowledge in SQL, Qlik and Power BI.
- Working knowledge of enterprise applications (e.g., core banking, ERP, Mobile Banking, Online Banking).
- Ability to use SQL, Python or ETL Logic for Scripting
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to comprehend and align with the organization’s goals and objectives with strong customer service orientation.
- Location: Lusaka.
