Qualifications and Competencies

Key Responsibilities

Identify client's psychological, emotional, or behavioural issues
Assess, formulate, and diagnose a patient's needs, abilities or behaviour using a variety of methods, including psychometric tests, interviews, and direct observation of behaviour
Diagnose psychological, emotional, or behavioural disorders Develop and implement treatment plans and therapeutic processes
Help clients define goals and plan action to achieve personal, social. educational, and vocational development and adjustment
Provide direct therapy based on the individual needs of patients, working within the allowed scope of the Psychologists training, license/ registration, and expertise.
