We are seeking a Calibration Technician to join our team. This role involves performing calibration, servicing, and refurbishment of a wide range of valves and instrumentation at various onshore and offshore locations. The position requires working in dynamic environments, both locally and internationally, to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
Missions:
- Perform calibration, servicing, and refurbishment of valves including gate valves, globe valves, control valves, ball valves, pneumatic and hydraulic actuators, pressure safety/relief valves, and diaphragm valves.
- Carry out calibration activities at diverse locations, both onshore and offshore, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Engage with clients daily during certification processes offshore and onshore, providing technical feedback to the management team.
- Conduct certifications in accordance with ISO 17025, API, and ASME standards, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Perform dimensional, pressure, torque, and mass calibrations both internally within the laboratory and externally at client sites.
- Provide in-house and on-the-job training to assistant technicians to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with Calibration Technical Specialists to identify additional service scopes from clients, both onshore and offshore.
- Process calibration certificates for offshore reviews, following good laboratory practices, and submit them for managerial approval.
- Manage the booking out and booking in of equipment for offshore clients, maintaining accurate records.
- Assist in writing work instructions and procedures in collaboration with Calibration Technical Specialists.
- Support laboratory accreditation efforts by maintaining ISO 9001 standards and preparing for future certifications.

This Calibration Technician position requires an experienced candidate capable of effectively managing calibration, servicing, refurbishment, and certification activities for a wide range of industrial valves and instrumentation equipment in both onshore and offshore environments.
Profile:
- Required experience level in industrial calibration, valve maintenance, and instrumentation.
- Required education level: technical diploma or higher in engineering, instrumentation, or related fields.
- Required language(s): English (fluent), additional languages are a plus.
- Company activity sectors relevant to the position include oil & gas, petrochemical, manufacturing, and industrial automation.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of ISO 17025, API, and ASME standards for calibration and certification processes.

- Excellent organizational skills for managing calibration certificates, laboratory practices, and equipment logistics.
