We are seeking a highly motivated results-oriented and strategic Business Analyst. The Purpose of this role is to bridge business needs and technical solutions by eliciting and analyzing requirements, re-engineering business processes, and translating them into well-specified, technically sound solutions for BGS software and digital-transformation projects — ensuring delivered solutions meet client and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Elicit, analyze and document business, functional and non-functional requirements through stakeholder workshops, interviews and document analysis.
• Analyze, model and re-engineer business processes (“as-is” to “to-be”), removing inefficiencies and designing improved, automation-ready workflows.
• Produce Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories, use cases, process maps and Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs).
• Translate re-engineered processes and requirements into clear technical specifications for the development team.
• Work closely with developers and architects on solution design, data models, integrations and APIs, applying sound technical judgement.
• Support backlog prioritization, sprint planning and the definition of acceptance criteria, user alignment, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Assess and manage scope changes through the change-control process.
• Contribute to proposals, feasibility studies and solution demonstrations.
• Maintain requirements and process documentation and ensure traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years' experience as a Business Analyst on software/ICT projects, including hands-on business process re-engineering.
• Sound technical acumen — a working understanding of software development, databases/SQL, system integration and APIs.
• Working knowledge of Agile and PRINCE2 delivery methodologies and of process-modelling notations (BPMN, UML).
• A business-analysis (CBAP, IIBA-ECBA) and/or process-improvement (Lean/Six Sigma) certification is an added advantage.
Key Competencies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and business-process re-engineering skills.
• Technical acumen and the ability to engage credibly with developers and architects.
• Excellent requirements-elicitation and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Attention to detail and structured, end-to-end thinking.
