- A well-established property developer is seeking an experienced Building Foreman to join its construction team on high-end residential developments in the Clara Anna Fontein area and surrounding northern suburbs of Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities.
- Coordinate and monitor subcontractors and labour teams.
- Ensure projects are completed according to programme, quality standards, and specifications.
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Monitor workmanship and quality control throughout all construction phases.
- Liaise with Site Managers, Contracts Managers, consultants, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Minimum Requirements:- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Building Foreman on residential housing developments.
- Proven track record in managing multiple housing units simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of building methods, finishes, and construction sequencing.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Good leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Valid driver's licence and own transport.
- Reside in or near the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town (advantageous).
