A well-established manufacturing company in Gauteng is seeking a qualified and experienced Boilermaker to join their maintenance and production support team
Minimum requirements:
- Trade Tested Boilermaker with a valid Red Seal certification.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ post-trade experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong experience in fabrication, welding, steel structures, and maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Competent in MIG, TIG, and arc welding processes.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and procedures in a plant environment.
- Must be able to speak Afrikaans and English
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fabrication, installation, repair, and maintenance of steel structures and equipment.
- Carry out welding and boiler-making tasks according to technical drawings.
- Assist with plant maintenance and breakdown repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety and quality standards.
- Conduct inspections and report defects or maintenance requirements.
- Support production teams with equipment modifications and improvements.
- Maintain accurate job and maintenance records.
