Bar Helper

Job Purpose

To support the efficient operation of the hotel bar by assisting bartenders with preparation, stocking, cleaning, and guest service, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages.

• Replenish stocks of beverages, ice, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies…

• Clean and polish glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, storage rooms, and workstations.

• Collect and dispose of waste according to hotel hygiene standards.

• Assist with receiving and storing beverage deliveries.

• Ensure all bar supplies are properly arranged and readily available.

• Help with bar opening and closing procedures.

• Support bartenders during busy service periods.

• Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and hotel policies.

• Provide courteous assistance to guests when required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Secondary school education or equivalent.

• Previous experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or bar operations is an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of beverages and bar operations is desirable.
