Job Description:
This position involves:

• Managing audit and independent review engagements from planning through to finalisation
• Reviewing audit files, working papers, and annual financial statements
• Supervising mentoring, and developing trainees and junior staff
• Ensuring audits are completed within deadlines, budgets, and professional standards
• Liaising directly with clients, directors, and senior stakeholders
• Identifying audit risks, technical issues, and areas for improvement
• Supporting audit planning, resource allocation, and workflow management
• Ensuring compliance with firm methodology and regulatory requirements

 
Skills & Experience:

• 5+years’ post-articles experience within an audit firm
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing and financial reporting standards
• Proven experience managing audit teams and reviewing audit work
• Experience with CaseWare (advantageous)
• Exposure to Xero or cloud-based accounting systems (advantageous)

 
Qualification:

• B.Com Accounting (or similar)
• Completed SAICA articles (non-negotiable)
