About Liebherr Zambia Ltd Apprenticeship Programme This apprenticeship is a strategic collaboration between Liebherr Zambia and Fountain Gate Crafts and Trades School (FGCATS), aimed at nurturing skilled technical professionals.

Apprentices will receive comprehensive training on Liebherr products, maintenance techniques, and repair processes while gaining practical experience at Liebherr operations and customer sites.

Key Responsibilities for Apprentice Technicians Learning & Development:

• Engage actively in classroom sessions, practical workshops, on-the-job training, and competency assessments.
• Develop expertise in Liebherr systems and maintenance practices under the mentorship of experienced technicians.

Technical Maintenance & Repairs:

• Support maintenance activities including planned, preventative, corrective, and breakdown repairs.
• Participate in equipment servicing and perform inspections and testing under supervision.

Component Rebuild & Remanufacturing:

• Assist with cleaning, dismantling, repairing, and testing components following strict quality and safety procedures to ensure reliability before reinstallation.

Health, Safety & Compliance:

• Adhere strictly to Liebherr’s safety policies and practices.
• Participate in safety assessments and consistently use personal protective equipment to maintain a safe working environment.
