Accountant (WIP)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full accounting function to Trial Balance
• Oversee accounts payable, GRNs and supplier reconciliations
• Manage accounts receivable and customer accounts
• Monitor WIP, inventory and sales orders
• Perform GL reconciliations and month-end close activities
• Process wages, salaries and leave reconciliations
• Maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
• Support stock control, inventory reporting and financial analysis
• Ensure strong financial controls and accurate reporting

• BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance essential
• Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles with 5+ years' post-articles experience preferred, or 8 years' commercial accounting experience
• Manufacturing industry experience is essential
• Experience working on Syspro or a similar ERP system
• Strong understanding of stock, inventory, WIP and manufacturing finance
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven, operational environment
