Job Position-Accountant
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Recording
- Maintain accurate accounting records, ledgers, and journals.
- Record daily financial transactions including income, expenses, and payroll.
- Support in reconciling accounts and preparing financial statements.
2. Banking and Cash Management
- Assist with bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
- Prepare payment vouchers and ensure all supporting documents are properly attached.
- Monitor cash flow and report discrepancies promptly.
3. Financial Reporting
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support budget tracking and financial performance analysis.
- Provide financial data and documentation for audits and management reviews.
4. Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure all financial documents are properly filed and maintained.
- Support adherence to audit requirements, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in maintaining transparency and accountability in all financial processes.
5. Administrative and Procurement Support
- Collaborate with procurement and project teams to process financial documentation.
- Review purchase orders and payment requests for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department as required.
6. Learning and Professional Development
- Participate in internal trainings and continuous learning to enhance accounting knowledge.
- Learn and utilize the company’s accounting software and tools effectively.
7. Flexibility and Field Support
- Be willing to travel to project sites for financial verification and support.
- Perform any other related duties assigned by the Finance Manager or Supervisor.
